• its communities, to reduce the harm that
  drugs cause
• Priority given to intelligence work based on
  harm
• SLUA One tactic of the strategy

Why Street Level Up?

• Investment in tackling inward supply not
• delivering reductions of harm on the streets
• More chance of targeting areas of supply chain
  focused on local drugs markets
• Drug supply to streets does not always fit NIM

The Model Explained

Intelligence

• Baseline assessment of drugs market
• Police SIO chair of multi-agency tasking groups
• Map the market e.g through test purchase
• operations
• Relax rules to deploy Agencies level 3 assets
• at level 1

Intervention

• Agencies agree plan of enforcement activity
• Include partners such as CPS to help with
  prosecution and DAATs and CDRPs to deal with
  increase in demand etc.

• Develop upstream intelligence to disrupt supply
