RECRUIT THE CREW
  • Choose a datethen about 10 weeks before the
    fair, start recruiting.
  • Talk to classes

The Most Important aspects of the Crew
  • Student Crew members develop team attitudes.
  • Given enough freedom, students show great
    creativity. LET THEM RUN!!
  • Leaders emerge
  • Responsible behavior earns positions on the
    set-up and run team
  • Crew members liaison to all classes, they
    encourage students to participate in class
    competitions.

Chocolate Extravaganza contest
  • Label pint jars with class names.
  • Students earn tokens (great northern beans) for
    purchases and classroom competitions.
  • Ask cafeteria to make the brownies, seek
    donations of ice cream/sprinkles/toppings from
    local merchants.
