This module explains the acquisition, utilisation
and organization of resources for use within
myclasses as well as classes themselves. myclasse
s provides specific tools for these purposes.

Managing Resources

Resource Manager allows you to find, create
and manage resources for your classes. Use the
resources to build e-Learning Folios (eLFs) for
your classes, and/or share them with other
teachers.

• Within the My Resources folder, there are
  subfolders for each type of resource-
• eLFs
• Files
• Properties

• Within the Shared Resources folder, there
  are subfolders containing Shared eLFs. These
  eLFs are sorted into two subfolders
• My School
• Other Schools
• The subfolders further sort the eLFs by
  Category (curriculum area) and Audience (broadly
  speaking, grade level)

Searching for Resources

Enter keywords for your search in the Text
field. Then, using the drop-down menus, determine
any additional criteria for your search. You may
wish to narrow your search by specifying a
Category or Audience level, the type of resource
you are looking for or where to search. You can
also have your results sorted by title or
frequency of use.

The results from this type of search are
displayed in a table with information about the
size of the resource, the author and the source
in this case, EdNA and Google. Click on the
title of the resource to view it.

The results will include eLFs that you have
created and eLFs created and shared by other
teachers. Each result will be listed with an
icon indicating the type of resource it is, and
can be viewed by clicking on the title.

Class Manager
myclasses
Class Manager works on the same system of
folders as the Resource Manager. It allows you
to easily administer the major areas of all of
your online classes.

Class Manager lists all of your classes.

Members, Details, and Files. The folder
will have a Class eLFs subfolder if the Class has
eLFs associated with it.
