- NHS-eCat Download Centre has been developed to
allow users to download product information for
contracts that are appropriate to their
organisation - Users can choose to
- Download the latest information for a specified
set of contracts - Download information for contracts that have
changed since their last download or since a
specific date - The next set of screens provide a step by step
guide to the Download Centre application

3 Enter your Trust code
Enter your NHS-eCat Username
Enter your NHS-eCat password
4Define Requirements
This screen allows you to select the contracts
required for downloading
Select and move contract to the left hand side
5When all the required contracts have been
selected, click Create New Extract
6Create New Extract
This screen allows you to create and define a new
download job
An optional short description can be entered here
Choose Changes Only or All Data
When Changes Only is selected, Date defaults to
date of last download
7Record of Events
This page displays and monitors the progress of
all download jobs for the organisation
Icon changes as the Download progresses
8Saving a file
Saving to the local drive
Click Download File and save cabinet
(.cab) file on local drive
9Option to change file name
Cabinet (,cab) file will need to be unzipped to
provide a comma separated file Beware of opening
this file in MS Excel. An all data file may be
too big. Leading zeros will be stripped from
attributes such as Dbid, Suppliers product code
etc.

Recent Changes
The Recent Changes page informs you of all
contracts that have been added or removed since
the completion of your last extract
