• Is being replaced for water use

• Time consuming to install
• More expensive than PVC less than copper

• Same as above but not corrosion resistant
• Does not react with chemicals

• Acrylonitrite butadiene stryrene
• Will last indefinitely (guaranteed for 50
  years)
• For sewage and underground applications
• Very easy to install (glue)
• Good alternative to cast iron
• Does not react with chemicals

• No real rhyme or reason
• Every type of pipe has its own standard
• Generally pipe is sized to the inside diameter
  (all outside diameters remain the same)
