improvements to the current standard Abstract
This document proposes an change to the current
IEEE 802.15.4 PHY to make the device simpler and
cheaper and easier useable between US/EU
products. Purpose For discussion within the
IEEE 802.15.4 task group on future work and
direction. Notice This document has been
prepared to assist the IEEE P802.15. It is

9Strategy for Europe
- The basis of the strategy is a three-pronged
attack on three levels - 1. Working group level
- Launch the arguments into the right committees,
SE24 and TG 28 - 2. Top Level ERO/ECC
- Ensure they get the message that IEEE answers
precisely their need. - 3. Top Level ETSI
- Arrange (hopefully joint) backing from IEEE for
a joint approach to ECC/ETSI, pushing the
argument on the basis of world harmonisation, and
speed and efficiency( dont re-invent the wheel). - 4. LPRA meeting
- Participate in the LPRA meeting with IEEE and/or
ZigBee.
