Artist Statement

• Looking back at the art I have created in the
  past two years, I see how my art work has
  evolved. My work starts from very simple pieces
  to more complicated and harder art projects. I
  do the work I do to get better and excel every
  time I begin a new task. I also do the work I do
  because I enjoy art. It is just something I love
  to do. My goals are to experiment with different
  types of media. For example, I could create
  water color paintings instead of creating pen and
  ink drawings. This is an excellent way for me to
  become skilled in several different art medias.
  While doing my work, I might have to make
  decisions on whether I should add more color or
  detail. When I need help deciding what to add to
  my work I ask other art students what they
  suggest to help my drawing or sketch. Their
  comments also help me get new ideas and themes
  for my art. My current work is a collage of
  animals that I am creating by using scratch art.
  The drawing is created by scratching away dark,
  black ink from a piece of paper, leaving white
  marks. It is time-consuming but so are most of
  my art works. Perfection takes time. In the
  future, I plan to improve on and surpass each new
  medium I undertake.

Pencil Shoe Ad

• For this shoe drawing I tried to make it as
  detailed as possible. I rushed on the second
  shoe but overall I think it turned out
  wonderfully.
