Hb and Hbb Trigger Studies

• Need New Trigger Configurations to cope with
  current instantaneous luminosity
• L1L2L3 requirements reworked with additional L3
  Muon and L3 IP b-tagger
• Large excess of tracks with positive IP found by
  L3 IP b-tagger for offline JLIP(0.014) data
  events
• Achieved a 55 increase in efficiency for
  triggering on Higgs MC
• Events with three offline jets MHiggs 100 GeV

Multijet B-Tagging Studies

• Improve discrimination of b-tagging by combining
  output from the current b-taggers
• Primarily try Neural Net (NN) with input of JLIP
  probability, CSIP number of tracks, SVT decay
  length significance and SLT pt rel of lepton
• Secondarily try additional jet variables as NN
  input
• Mass of secondary vertex
• Event Shape (sphericity, rapidity angle)
• Multiplicity of vertices
• Track Significances
• NN to be trained with a range of samples
• Estimated time for first results 1 month (?)
