    the local school system whereby I will be making
    donations to the school system on behalf of the
    students whose parents are referred by the school
    system to me as clients.  Is this acceptable?
  • A.  NO!! The Occupational Code states that a
    licensee is subject to the penalties set forth in
    Article 6 for "sharing or paying a fee,
    commission, or valuable consideration to a person
    not licensed under this article..."  A licensee
    may not pay referral fees to an organization,
    even if the organization is a public or a
