  • To place your child in a language stream for
    which she is most suited so that she completes
    primary education successfully

P3 This refers to the topical tests that P3s
take in Term 1. The CA1 score depends on the
marks gained from their Best 2 topical tests.

  • 4 subjects (EMS MT)

  • 5 Subjects (EMS MT HMT)
  • Band 1 in MT Band 2 in EM Maths

  • Classes streamed by ability in Maths.
  • EM3 pupils can offer MTL instead of BMTL if they
    obtain Band 2 or better at P4 EOY exams
  • HMT is a additional subject / Exam and needs more
    periods. P5 HMT classes held in the afternoon

    to pass at least ONE subject.
  • Band 3 or 4 for MT ? cannot take HMT. Need to get
    at least Band 2 for MT.
