Protections
- Residential development is only permitted as part
of a development that integrates tourist-oriented
businesses as part of an overall mixed-use
development on the property - All residential development must have a retail
and/or tourist-oriented business development on
the ground floor. Subject to the following
exceptions Lobbies, common areas, parking,
parking lot entries, internal courtyards without
street frontages. - The site area that contains residential buildings
and related parking areas shall be limited to a
maximum of 33 of the total site area - Where a residential development component is
allowed, it shall be limited to a maximum of
medium density residential (18 units/acre). - A minimum of 5,000 square feet/acre of retail
and/or tourist-oriented business development must
be developed with or prior to any residential
development
