PreK and Kindergarten Grade Reporting
  • Early Childhood features of GATS added August
    2005
  • Grade Reporting for PK/K are separate from
    functions of Grades 1-12
  • Progress Reports Comments are in a new location,
    PK/K cannot use the Progress Reports Screen that
    Grades 1-12 use.
  • PK/K do not give grades but mark standards,
    special screens have been developed in GATS for
    this purpose.

  • Clerks are being trained to handle grade
    reporting for Sept. 23.
  • Printing PK/K reports is a separate process from
    the Progress Reports for Grades 1-12.

Special Education Teachers Gradebook Access
  • Itinerant, resource, and special education
    teachers have completed training.
  • Processes are being completed to provide access.
  • Course schedule building is required for access
    to be granted.
  • Special Education teachers should have gradebook
    access by the 2nd nine weeks or before.

Grade Reporting Procedures for Progress Reports
and Report Cards
  • End of first 6 Weeks Friday, September 23, 2005
  • Progress Reports are to be based on grades given
    from August 15-Sept 23.
  • Principals will ensure that campus-wide progress
    reports will be submitted by the data clerk at
    the end of the school day on the dates of the UIL
    grade checks and other progress reports.  These
    progress reports will be saved on the clerks PC
    for the remainder of the school year for
    reference.
