• Mars is one of the two planets with polar ice
  caps
• by reading this brochure you will educate
  yourself about mars

• You can see Olympus Mons and Ascraeus Mons while
  aboard a specially designed buggy.
• You will be able to go up the volcano's side!
• Olympus Mons is 27 km high!

• You will also be able to view the huge canyon,
  Valles Marineris, on a Red Planet tour ship.
• On the tour you can go inside the huge canyon!

• There are many things that you need to pack on
  this trip some include
• a very insolated space suit(it can get very cold)
• A Mars calendar(to keep track of the days)
• a star catcher (many stars come past Mars!)
• There might be other things that you might

• Mars is 56 million kilometers from Earth
• It is 1 1/2 AU from the sun
• Mars is the most likely planet to harbor life,
  although none has been found
• The planet itself is 6,787 kilometers in diameter
• The atmosphere is made of carbon dioxide,
  nitrogen, argon, carbon monoxide, neon, krypton,
  xenon, and water vapor
• It is a sun hugger (4th planet from the sun)
• Average temperature is -225 degrees F to -63
  degrees F
• One year is 687 days long
• The orbit shape is an ellipse
