• ADC KRONEs PoE is a IEEE 802.3af compliant
  Midspan Power over Ethernet Controller.
• IEEE 802.3af is the standard that defines the
  technical requirements for providing power over
  standard Ethernet cabling to enable devices such
  as VoIP phones, WiFi access points, IP cameras,
  and other powered devices.
• Midspan is a power injecting device residing
  in the physical layer infrastructure between an
  Ethernet switch and a powered device.
