• The cost of developing new semiconductor
  technology is now so large that it is no longer
  feasible for companies to support multiple,
  parallel implementations. There are only
  sufficient resources in the world to tackle each
  technology generation once, and the industry must
  go forward in a unified way, working together to
  achieve each step. Ultimately, I believe, our
  industry will depend on, and thrive as a result
  of, new experiments in creative cooperation.
