Full Asset Management

• On August 9 the Full Asset Management system went
  live
• Prior to Go Live using the DIFs (Data Import
  Files) Provided by the Agencies we imported
  assets.
• Integrated Asset and Help Desk application

Full Asset Management

• Currently in Development we are addressing
• Addition of a Name field so the Agency may
  identify the asset more clearly for their needs
• Expansion of the Serial Number field via an
  ellipsis button
• Expansion of Building, Room, Floor fields
• Serial Number Tag Number for query displays as
  well as displays for the HD integration piece

• Priorities for now is to import the data and
  validate the data
• Phase 1 Work with Agencies to import non third
  party data
• Phase 2 Work with Agencies to validate data in
  the system

• What Should the Agency prepare
• How to export the existing Agency non 3rd Party
  records to the DIFs
• Submit a sample record set to ensure all records
  will import properly
• Drop Down boxes must match exactly to the
  descriptions in the Data Dictionary for Remedy
  import the records

OA Assistance

• SMS We are in the process of trying to use SMS
  data to validate Remedy Asset records. The
  handouts show the different options and we would
  like feedback as to our approach
• We intend to compare data from SMS gathered from
  Agencies to what records are in Remedy
• We intend to be able to inventory Agency assets
  and populate Remedy with basic information for
  validation from the Agency

• Dell Lease Data Feed
• We are in the process and have received a sample
  file from Dell that shows all assets leased. The
  handouts show the different options and we would
  like feedback as to our approach
• We intend to compare records from the Dell lease
  file to those on the Asset System to validate the
  lease assets on the system and populate the Asset
  records for Agency validation
• We intend to compare Lease contract information
  from the Dell lease file to validate lease
  contracts and populate the Asset records for
  Agency validation

Future Meetings

• Monthly meetings to assist Agencies migration
• Agencies that have not migrated any Assets to the
  system
• Agencies that have migrated some asset but had
  errors and need to migrate additional Assets to
  the system
• Agencies that wish to add the Assets to the
  system manually

Future Meetings

• When the data migration is completed we will hold
  Agency meetings to help determine
• Future enhancements and direction of the
  application for the enterprise
• Our intension is to hold these meetings after the
  migrations, preferably starting in February

Training

• Training has been set up from November 14 to
  November 17
• Every morning during those dates from 9 AM until
  Noon
• On Thursday November 16 there is an afternoon
  class scheduled from 1 PM until 4 PM.

  additional people who want to be trained
