Common Deficiencies

• All presentations were very linear rather than
  more integrated
• In general, raw numbers mean nothing, also report
  numbers in sensible units or relative units
  usually as a percentage of something
• Lean to summarize a slide, not read it the
  audience usually can read

More Suggestions

• Practice your presentation to improve efficiency
  and learn to improvise (see below). Life is not
  a script
• Avoid Redundancy if some group previously has
  covered the exact same material (which will
  happen) then move on or give your spin to it
  instead of just repeating it

More damn suggestions

• Not everyone needs to speak in every group
  presentation spread the load around over this
  and the next presentation
• Make sure your power point slides are well
  viewable. Use big fonts and appropriate contrast
  schemes
• Introduce your spin on the topic, sell it, and
  summarize it.
• Avoid the digital factoid approach
