Nuclear Energyatomic fission fusionOne of
the most important question in our days is
energy. How can we ensure it in a way, we dont
pollute our environment and the next generation
will share in it? There are diverse solutions
one of them is nuclear energy. But there are some
doubts about it. Is it safe? And is it economic?

Uranium-235 (U-235) is shot by a slow neutron.
Neutron is covered by the uranium, which attracts
it. The uranium fissions, so this is the way how
two neutrons, two heavy elements and huge energy
are produced.

What is nuclear energy?
  • Firstly how can we exempt energy...The big
    discovery which gave the nuclear energy and
    unfortunately the atomic bomb to humanity at
    fission the total weight of final product is
    smaller than the total weight of neutron and
    uranium. The lost material transforms into huge
    energy. We know two manners. The first is nuclear
    fission, and the second is atomic fusion.

How do nuclear power plants produce energy? With
the help of heat energy which we get at fission.
We boil water and from this water there will be
steam, the steam moves the turbines with
different pressure. The turbines produce electric
power with the help of generator.

Nuclear Power Plant in Paks. Just like in other
countries in the EU nuclear energy is the organic
part of producing current in Hungary too.(40)

Turbines,Primary heat supporting pipe,Steam
generator,Active zone with heating elements and
reactor container.

What do we do with nuclear waste? The not too
strong radioactive waste is put into barrels and
closed into chambers which are formed into
rock-salt. The very strong radioactive waste
after covering with glass is put into barrels and
closed from the nature forever.

Close contact with atom energy we must say a few
words about chain fission yield. Chain fission
yield the fissile material which has a certain
mass starts to fission inevitably in high
temperature (for example explosion of an atomic
bomb).
