Education Department, Office of Bilingual
Education. The NYS Legislature appropriates
bilingual categorical funds to provide these
services and other grants to school districts
throughout New York State.

- Determined by length of time the student has been

informational purposes only - Must take English Regents in order to graduate
accommodations are allowed - Must take state tests in content areas, but may
be taken in native language or with an
interpreter.
