1. Read-Aloud serves as a listening and reading
builder. Oral reading will be performed by both
the student and the teacher. This strategy will
be used to help students to feel more relaxed
when reading aloud within a group. 2. Chapter
Tour will be useful for exposing students to
chapter materials. Also, it serves to enlighten
students of what is to come and to be covered
within the chapter. 3. Match the Shape is a
frontloading strategy to prepare students for the
remaining of the chapter. 4. Interactive
Knowledge Guide introduces new terminology. It
builds vocabulary. Lastly, it allows the student

Sequential Roundtable Alphabet will help
students to exercise recall. Recall in the sense
of visualizing words cover within the chapter.
Thus, this strategy prompts the student to
connect words with the alphabet listed in each
square. To display their knowledge, students
will place a chapter word in the square which
corresponds to that alphabet. 3. Fact
Pyramid will be use to help students focus in on
three key elements about the term listed in each
section of the triangle. 4. Vocabulary Builder
helps students to build and expand on prefix
meanings of math terms.

LIST-GROUP-LABEL helps students to sort a word
bank by groups. The student is to label each
term by placing either a T for triangle, Q for
quadrilateral, or P for polygon by the words
listed below. 3. Unscramble the word is a
reinforcement tool for chapter vocabulary . It
will help students with spelling and
memorization. This strategy is useful as a
homework or class assignment. 4. Treasure Hunt
will be a wrap-up assignment. Each student will
be given one vocabulary word. The students task
is to locate 3 structural objects which are made
up of that shape (ie a stop sign).
