Background

• 1993 - The Georgia Quality Initiative (GQI) began
  as a result of the National Quality Initiative
  (NQI)
• 2000 NQI became the National Partnership for
  Highway Quality (NPHQ)
• 2004 GQI revised name to Georgia Partnership
  for Transportation Quality (GPTQ)
