He was born in 1496 or 1497 he came from a nice
family in Spain. He was a sailor and a
conquistador

He conquered the new world and became rich in
Peru. He was a mean person . He wanted to be a
governor.

He had more than two hundred horses. Thats how
how his army traveled. With 620 men

DeSoto's death
DeSoto died May 21, 1542. He was lift in the
Mississippi River. His army went to Mexico.
