• Largest part of the brain
• Divided into R L hemispheres by deep grooves
  (longitudinal fissure)
• Convolutions- elevated folds on the surface of
  the cerebrum which increase the surface of the
  brain
• Sulci- fissures or grooves separating cerebral
  convolutions
