Objectives

• To raise the education of Tanzanian youth,
  emphasis on the girl student
• To educate based on Christian values
• To educate informal aspirants to achieve
  educational standards for entrance into formation
  programme.

Buildings realised up to now

• Admin building
• 4 Blocs with 2 class rooms each
• 2 Sanitary blocs
• Laboratries for Chemistry, Physics, Biology,
  Geografy-Computer almost finished
• Porridge kitchen and small hall
• Stand for bicycles
• Water tower and 2 underground tanks

• Bishop Gabriel Mmole blesses all buildings
• Teaching staff students occupy the new place

• Feastday of the Patron Saint Thomas Aquinas with
  Pontifical Mass and many guests and introduction
  of new Manager

  first Board Meeting

• 31 July 2008, the third Board Meeting

• One of them a Kenyan Missionary Benedictine Sr,
  who teaches Bible Knowledge in all classes,
  prepares porridge and does landscaping

• 356 Students, in Form I IV, double stream
• 146 out of them are girls
• End of 2008 national examinations
• Form IV for the first time
• Form II for the third time
• First graduation 28 September 2008

Academic Performance

• Form II national examinations 2008
• Showed that Aquinas was ranking
• 54 out of 254 secondary schools

• Teachers urgently needed
• Additional Buildings needed
• Sportsgrounds needed
• Equipment and books needed
• Qualified Accountant necessary
• Electricity connection still missing
• Better access from high way
• Landscaping to be continued
