What Is Truth Helpers, Incorporated?

• Truth Helpers, Inc. (THI) is a 501(c)3 non profit
  corporation a Christian organization created to
  work together to help other Christians proclaim
  the gospel of Christ.
• The name is derived from 3rd John 8, That we
  might be fellow-helpers to the truth. (KJV) or
  as stated, so that we may work together for
  the truth (NIV).
• Just as the name Truth Helpers states, THI is an
  organization that helps those spreading the truth
  of Gods Word, with a particular emphasis on
  foreign missions.

Why was Truth Helpers, Incorporated Founded?

• When I surrendered my life to God, I truly
  expected my service for Him to be in foreign
  missions. Though I had no idea where He might
  call me, I was ready to follow.

However, God had other plans,

• From the time of my first pastorate in Indiana,
  God allowed me to have a heart for missions
  beginning with a couple serving in the back parts
  of Haiti. Through my position as pastor of
  several large church, I have been able to raise
  millions of dollars for the mission fields and I
  have also been privileged to visit many areas to
  preach and to encourage those who have gone.

In 1994, after over 40 years of ministry

• the greater part spent in pastoring, I faced the
  fact that the stamina needed to meet the
  demands required of a pastor was diminishing and
  I would soon no longer have the physical energy I
  needed. My passion for the Lords work, and my
  desire to serve Him had never waned. Retiring
  from the ministry of spreading the good news was
  not an option. Finding a less physical method to
  so was compelling.

This became a matter of prayer and meditation for
me.

• I read in Psalms 9213,14, Those that be planted
  in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the
  courts of our God. They shall still bring forth
  fruit in old age they shall be fat and
  flourishing
• This was what I longed for. Therefore, I began
  to pray and to search for a way that even in my
  declining years I could have an effective
  ministry for Him.
• God began to reveal his plan and the result was
  Truth Helpers, Inc.

During this time,

• while on a mission trip to Romania to preach to
  some young Romanian men studying for the ministry
  I experienced a situation that impacted me for
  life.
• I carried my teaching outlines in my Bible.
  During one of the breaks, the Romanian students
  collected money to purchase film to photograph my
  outlines and distribute them for studying.
• The pastor of one of the Largest Baptist church
  in Oradia, Romania shared with me that All the
  books translated into the Romanian language
  (Theology, Commentaries, and other resource
  materials) occupy 14 inches of shelf space.

From that experience,

• God led me to establish a website on which I
  could post sermons and lectures, study guides,
  etc from the years of my ministry so that people
  from other countries, such as those in Romania
  could freely study and download what ever they
  needed.

God then brought into our lives

• in a miraculous way---a talented young preacher
  who also designed websites. I consider Dan Ondra
  to be the best available. The day I spoke to him
  about my dream of a web site, he had a web page
  up and running.

Though it is still a work in progress

• we already have several hundred sermons and
  articles available where those of other
  nationalities can click and have everything
  translated into their language.

What does THI do?

• Just as the name Truth Helpers states, it an
  organization designed to help those spreading the
  truth of Gods word.
• Supports a vibrant ministry in Haiti, channeled
  through Baptist Evangelical Missions Association
• Supports a Bible Institute in Romania through an
  organization called Frontline Fellowship
• Founded Truth Chapel, a local church in Delaware
• Special projects such as Healing Water Bible
  Church
• A conduit to other like-minded ministries
• Benevolence

How is this mission accomplished?

How is Truth Helpers structured?

• THI is incorporated in the stated of Delaware and
  represented by legal firm located in Wilmington
  and guided by a CPA.
• THI is structured by a board of directors made up
  of like-minded, born again Christians. Among
  them are
• A business man, preachers,
• and working class people.

How are finances generated?

• It is financed by gifts from those who recognize
  the purpose of the organization and at this point
  from the sale of the River Road property.
