  6, 1706. His Parents were Joshio Franklin and
  Abiah Benjamin
• There were 17 children in his family. They were
  very poor.

  candle-maker but he wanted more Education.

Benjamin Franklin did a lot of things in his
life. He was a publisher, a civic leader in
Philadelphia , a scientist, a printer, a
statesman and a delegate in the Constitutional
Congress.

• Benjamin Franklin tried to convince the British
  to be friends with the colonists so they could
  avoid a war. In the end, however, he couldnt
  prevent a war from starting between Britain and
  the colonies.
