CONTEXT
  • Area of high employment but with pockets of
    extreme unemployment deprivation
  • Growth area, especially with high technology
    industries
  • Rich cultural mix - high levels ethnic minorities
  • An area of extremes - the richest and the poorest
    communities in London

The Project
  • Total Value 3.95m
  • 32 Regional / National Partners
  • Each Borough with a range of local partners who
    deliver the project
  • Each local partner works with disadvantaged
    beneficiary groups
  • Overall aim is EMPOWERMENT

  • All activities and objectives are transnational
    as well as regional local
  • Products include a new European Social Enterprise
    - ECCO
  • A new European Certificate in Social Enterprise -
    ECCE - accredited by UEL with modules delivered
    in each partner country.
  • 35 multi-national students
