9Three High Quality IB Programmes
- The Primary Years Programme (PYP) for students
aged 3 to 12 focuses on the development of the
whole child in the classroom and in the world
outside. - The Middle Years Programme (MYP) for students
aged 11 to 16 provides a framework of academic
challenge and life skills taught through
traditional school subjects. - The Diploma Programme (DP) for students aged 16
to 19 is a demanding two-year curriculum leading

(150 hours). - One or two subjects at SL may be completed at the
end of the first year.

- Maximum of 3 points for EE/TOK
- Total of 45 points possible
- Diploma is awarded to a candidate whose total
score is 24 (minimum) and 45 (maximum). - Provided
- CAS, TOK, EE have been completed
- There is no grade 1 in any subject
- There is no grade 2 at HL
- There is no more than one grade 2 at SL
- There are no more than three grades 3 or below.
