Recommendations

• A community education and awareness initiative to
  target Civic groups, Retailers, Schools/Parents,
  Business owners, Youth, Hotel/Motel Owners,
  Landlords. Provide these audiences with a
  community action kit on meth, training
  PowerPoints and resources to educate the public.
• Coordinate a statewide public awareness media
  campaign to educate Oregon residents on the
  problems and dangers associated with
  methamphetamine manufacture and use in our state.
  To include television, radio and print public
  service announcements consistently applied
  through media outlets across Oregon.

Target Meth Building a Vision for a Drug-Free
Community

• An innovative new partnership brings a content
  expert Oregon Partnership and a technology
  expert, Southern Oregon Public Television,
  together.
• Target Meth incorporates a statewide public
  awareness media and community training campaign,
  designed to educate Oregon residents on the
  problems and dangers associated with
  methamphetamine manufacture and use in Oregon.

Programming

• OP and SOPTV are co-producing three 30-minute
  Target Meth specials focusing on the big
  picture
• Each special will be designed to air with a local
  companion piece that focuses on specific regions
  of Oregon

• Web-based resource library that will provide
  Oregon methamphetamine information, programming
  and downloadable tools.
• Will provide on-demand access and video streaming
  of meth programming, public service announcements
  and interviews
• Will include video clips from statewide media
  coverage, resource links, state and local meth
  statistics
