• Who is Molly pitcher ? What did she do? Why was
  she important to the American revolution?

Why she got her name

• Molly pitcher is known for her bravery and
  courage through out the revolutionary war . She
  got the nickname Molly Pitcher by carrying
  water to the soldiers while they were at battle.
  Her real name was Mary Ludwig hays McCauly.

Battle with her husband

• Molly had a desire to be near he husband
• While he was at battle. Molly made herself useful
  by cooking and washing for the soldiers. Mollys
  husband was shot! She was astonished that her
  husband died! They were already short of
  soldiers. So, Molly took her husbands place.
  Without her help the soldiers would have been
  working double duty to fill her husbands spot.
