  • 30 minute sessions are best
  • Then have a short brain break
  • Do 2 hours a night
  • Aim for 3-4 hours on a non-school day

    into planning your revision, the better you will
    do.

Successful Revision 10 steps
  • Find a good environment in which to revise-
    comfortable, no distractions.
  • Make a realistic revision timetable as above.
  • Know your strengths and weaknesses mix them up
    on your timetable.
  • Always make your own revision notes.
  • Stay focussed, stick to the important points.

  • 6. Use a range of revision techniques e.g.
    revision cards, mnemonics, mind maps, lists, past
    papers
  • 7. Tick off topics when you have revised them
    feel good about it!
  • 8. Revise for 30 minutes plus 10 minutes to test
    yourself.
  • 9. Remember to relax, take a break between
    sessions
  • 10. Remind yourself how useful your revision is,
    and look back at what you have achieved so far!
