Uric acid, xanthine, hypoxanthine, phophate,
electrolytes (esp, K)
Prevention Ensure uric acid deposits removed
prior to commencing chemotherapy (hyper-hydration
and allopurinol or uric oxidase inhibitor)
Renal outflow obstruction
Nephrostomy? Dialysis?
