• They are familiar entities in Chemical processing
  plants, automobile assembly lines, and
  electronics manufacturing facilities

Industrial Robots
What people think of as robots

• Industrial Robots are a critical component of
  factory automation. Very few of them bear any
  resemblance to the humanlike android pictured in
  science fiction movies

MainBody/Parts

• Regardless of their size or function, industirial
  robots have three main parts. The main body of
  the robot is called the manipulator

End Effector/Parts

• The second essential part of the robot an end
  effector. This is the fripper, welding gun, or
  other tool allowing the arms to excute assigned
  tasks. Grippers are normally custom-made.

Controler/Parts

• The third essential part of a robot, the
  controller, is the program and computer used to
  activate the robot, guide it, and direct its
  movements.

Off-line Programming

• Off-line programming is when an operator writs a
  new program at a terminal. Offline programs can
  be written without interrupting production.

• So robots are an important part of society they
  are aoutomated machines, most of the are
  industrial robots which are made up of 4 main
  parts, Automation is automatic machines,
  industrial robots the parts of a robot, and the
  programing of the robot.
