IT Problems

• Hardware, connectivity, Windows O.S and e-mail
  problems are supported by the CPUT IT Department.
• Library systems e.g. Aleph, Metalib, SFX, OCLC
  etc. are supported by us and problems escalated
  to the CALICO support office or the relevant
  vendor when necessary.

General remarks

• We do not have a fully integrated IT system
  Cape Town users store documents on the H-drive,
  in Bellville limited space is provided
• Staff get 500Mb for Internet access.
• If depleted Internet access is denied but one
  can arrange for more bytes through your HoD.
• Backup your documents at regular intervals
