Research development interests

• The center is working on a new patented
  technology for the synthesis of nanosized oxide
  powders by molecular decomposition and their
  dispersions in liquids.
• The centers technology has resulted from
  research at the University of Utahs Materials
  Science Engineering Department. The center is
  interacting with other centers and industries
  within the state to find applications for its
  technology.
• The centers powders and dispersions have
  numerous applications in high performance
  coatings, sensors, membranes, catalysts and
  medical diagnostics.
• The ultimate impact of the centers efforts would
  be to catalyze start-up companies in Utah.

users to advance the technology to product
applications and markets through licensing of the
technology.
