Mining

• If we mined in Antarctica would destroy
  Antarcticas ice and destroy the animal habitat
  killing them as well the Antarctic treaty
  prevents this. I would help even more if it was
  enforced in other places.
• Mining in Antarctica would prevent minerals such
  as iron, tin copper and other metals, being
  depleted for a great length

• Having the Antarctic Treaty enforced keeps
  Antarctica the beautiful and unspoilt waste of
  all kinds there would wreck it.
• Then again some people say that Antarctica would
  be a good place to dump waste because there are
  not many animals there and it is vast.

Whaling

• With the Antarctic treaty enforced around the
  world whales are safe in Antarctica.The Japanese
  have been killing whales and they should stop
  killing them especially the Minkey whales we
  dont even know if they are testing them as they
  said.
• We dont know for sure that the Japanese are
  killing whales and even if they were it would be
  more of a benefit. The Antarctic treaty stops us
  getting more oil and ambergris.

• The Antarctic treaty Helps protect the Flora
  fauna in Antarctica by demanding that nobody
  touches Antarcticas animals except for
  scientific research

• Lots of people like to touch animals rather than
  look at them, this can be done without harming
  the animals so why shouldnt we be able to touch
  Antarctic animals?

• Having the Antarctic Treaty prevents pollution
  being dumped in Antarctica. Pollution is gases,
  oil, litter.
• Lots of people agree that because Antarctica is
  vast and very few animals live there.

nuclear

• For the same reason that people think we should
  be able to dump waste in Antarctic people think
  that people should be able to do nuclear projects
  in Antarctica.
• The Antarctic treaty enforced around the world
  prevents all nuclear activity in Antarctica, if
  countries didnt sign the Antarctic treaty then
  many animals would be dead by now as well as the
  ice being destroyed.
