Altrusans visited the Franklin Park Conservatory
to see the brush exhibit, learn about Community
gardens, and hear how their Spanish language
brochure helped visitors in time for the Chapungu
exhibit

Serving the International Community
Through our contribution to Partners in
Conservation, Altrusa is helping young women in
Rwanda to attend high school, Assisting women
and their children to be Productive, and helping
survivors of the Genocide to be productive
despite disabilities.

• The Columbus Club donates to the AI Foundation.

Altrusa is making a Critical Difference for Women

• In cooperation with this OSU program, Altrusa
  provides scholarship assistance for a
  non-traditional student and an international
  student helping them to complete a college
  education.

Book and Stuffed animal collection in
partnership with the National American Miss
Contest. Over 2000 items collected and
distributed to children in need!

Altrusa developed the nursery at the Marysville
Prison for women who have fewer than six months
left at the time they deliver a baby. For
several years our members visited with activities
for the Moms and their babies.
Last year, Altrusa contributed 750 to an
inner-city Girl Scout troop to help them buy
vests, insignia, and badges. Altrusans also
provided assistance working toward their career
badge.
