  in vinegar.

• Household vinegar contains 4-5 by mass acetic
  acid (CH3COOH).
• CH3COOH is monoprotic.

Exp. 10 Procedural Notes

• Part A
• Step 1 - do calculation assuming 12.5mL of
  standardized NaOH.
• Weigh out vinegar sample and prepare the buret
  with NaOH.

• Part B
• Titrate the vinegar with NaOH
• Repeat with same vinegar
• Repeat with a different vinegar, two trials.
• Calculate the percent acetic acid in the two
  vinegar samples.
