Proposed Web Page Course Revisions
Problem ITSE 1445 Intro to Oracle SQL and
PL/SQL --- Each year, we have to pay for the
software and the course has not made in several
years. Solution Replace the course with ITSE
1346 Database Theory and Design. The course
description is an introduction to the analysis
and utilization of data requirements and
organization intro normalized tables using the
four normal forms of database design. We will
use Microsoft SQL Server which is part of the
Academic Alliance.
14
Proposed Networking Course Revisions
Problem There are insufficient contact hours in
our CCNP courses for extensive the lecture and
lab scenarios required in the curriculum. ITNW
2471 (Cisco 5/6) and ITNW 2472 (Cisco 7/8) each
provide only 6 contact hours per week. Extensive
lecture/labs require more hours
15
Solution
16
Explanation
  • This solution affects 2 degree plans Security
Certificate and the Wide Area Telecommunications
    A.A.S.
  • Contact hours This revision will provide 2 more
contact hours per week for the CCNP courses which
will greatly benefit the students in
understanding and retention of important skills.
  • Credit Hours
  • Security Certificate Total credit hours
    increase from 55 to 56.
  • Wide Area Telecommunications A.A.S. The deletion
of COSC 1436 will maintain the credit hours at
