  • NOTC created in 1994 as non-profit organization
    (evolved to LTC in 2001)
  • Created to advance technology industry and to
    increase economic development of region
  • Initially funded by City of New Orleans
  • Independent organization

Mission Statement
The primary mission of the Louisiana Technology
Council (LTC) is to assist with the technological
development of member individuals and
organizations by providing programs, events,
organizational support and other value added
services that contribute to their competitiveness
and growth. The LTCs secondary mission is to
assist in the economic development of the State
of Louisiana insofar as it furthers the Councils
primary mission, and where circumstances are
appropriate and funding is provided.
