6intelliMATCH Event Driven Processingfor
Real-time, Intra-day Reconciliation
In the confirmation matching business
environment, there is a need to run certain
schedules(such as auto-matching) whenever
specific events occur. As a result,
intelliMATCH v7.0 introduces the concept of Event
Driven Processing
IntelliMatch 7.0 is able to sense when any
predefined system event has occurred and can
trigger a scheduled job after a known system
event has taken place.
For example, in order to efficiently match items,
a client may wish to run auto-matching every time
an item has been edited, is imported, is created,
or a match group has been manually dissolved.

15intelliMATCH 7.0 Data Enrichment
Data enrichment is a user-configurable process
which bridges the boundaries that exist between
related balance pools.
Whenever there are multiple pools that contain
data that is related in some way, data
enrichment is a way of passing information from
items in one pool to corresponding items in
another.
Data enrichment may be run for a variety of
reasons -- to improve matching rates, to provide
additional reference information, or just to flag
items for grouping purposes.
One item can be updated with information from
another, via the data enrichment functionality.
This was created to solve the issue whereby cash
items that move over Nostro accounts, commonly
have poorer referencing than their related
confirmations.
Using data enrichment, a user can take the deal
number from a corresponding confirmation and
write it to the cash item, thus improving
auto-matching. Data enrichment passes can be run
both manually or as a scheduled job.
