- c. Intellectual Property
- The following statement was provided by the
Center for Science and Technology
Commercialization (CSTC) - Per University of Connecticut policy, any
invention, whether patentable or not, developed
during the course of this project will be
disclosed to the Universitys Center for Science
and Technology Commercialization, which handles
patenting and licensing for the University.
75. Evidence of Commitment

and other Collaborators - See attached Institutional Letter of Commitment
from President Hogan. - Dr. Lalande will provide a letter signed by
President Hogan to be submitted with the
proposal. Depending on when available we will
email. The letter will also be available on the
ORSP website to be included during routing and
will be posted on the ESCRO website.

will cover - itemize by category such as chemicals, reagents,
disposables, etc. - Other include items such as animal care,
repair/maintenance, facs, etc. - All budget items must be itemized with
breakdown and explanation. - Above costs were estimated based on current
market pricing to achieve the milestones as
described in the research plan.

12Proposal Routing
- Stem Cell Proposals require two routing forms.
- The first routing form is the standard ORSP form
used for all grants. For the start date we will
use June 1, 2008. This is an estimated date.
Proposals will not get awarded until all
approvals are in place and DPH receives final
word from Anne Hiskes.
13- The second routing form is the Supplemental
Routing Form for Proposals Involving the Use or
Creation of Human Stem Cells. - Supplemental Routing Form
- This form must accompany all the stem cell
applications. - Both Routing Forms can be downloaded from the

19- Seed Grants/Postdoctoral Fellows
- Proposal must include a Letter of Support and
Biosketch from the Faculty Sponsor(s). The
sponsors letter must address the following - The post-doc's faculty mentor agrees in
writing to commit the resources necessary for the
project - The post-doc's mentor agrees to assume full
responsibility for completion of the project, or
for it's orderly close-out/termination, including
(but not limited to) responsibility for all
reporting requirements removal of
hazardous/controlled substances that the post-doc
may have left behind arranging for euthanasia of
animals left behind - The mentor agrees to assume responsibility
for serving as PI on IRB/ACC applications, and
the responsibilities associated with such status,
e.g., reports, follow-up, etc.
