  • Encourages informal one-on-one partnerships

Workforce Management
  • The Mentorship Program is an integral part of the
    OCIO/EITS Workforce Management strategy
  • It supports the development of a Learning
    Organization
  • It will be supplemented by separate Training and
    Development and Leadership Training programs

  • ITPDS as Champion of the Program
  • Maintain Program Documents
  • Process and Retain Partnership Documents
  • Accountable for Programs Long Term Success
  • Program Council as Manager of the Program
  • Approve Individual Partnerships
  • Track Partnerships Progress
  • Identify Opportunities for Improvement

  • Members of project committee as the first Program

  • Members of the committee may participate as
    Mentors and Protégés
  • Additional OCIO/EITS staff may participate as
    Mentors and Protégés to add a fresh perspective

Program Process
  • Individual seeks Supervisor approval and submits
    Program Initial Interest Document
  • Attend a Meet and Greet networking event
  • Mentor and Protégé self select and begin formal
    partnership
  • Together they develop Individual Development
    Action Plan for the Protégé
  • No-Fault Partnership Termination if needed
