    supported by Hands on Support Consultants

  • Summer 2004 clusters agree model which best
    meets local needs
  • Hands on Support consultants to work with
    clusters in promoting and developing the
    programme. Cluster boards to negotiate
    deployment and release of Leading Teachers

    identify staff who will benefit from Hands on
    Support
  • Co-ordinate with clusters to ensure widest
    participation
  • Share good practice between clusters
  • Facilitate cluster meetings to discuss common

  • Training and support for the Leading Teachers
  • Assist in the training process where required
  • Help trainers adapt resources for different
    software/networking arrangements
  • Work with National Strategy consultants to
    develop ICT in subject teaching

  • Leading Teachers will model teaching
  • Joint planning, evaluation and feedback are

  • Leading Teacher remains in contact, being
    there for the teacher

    on Support will promote awareness. Stimulate eLC
    expenditure through the Hands on Support
    programme
  • Impact must be sustainable consultants will
    follow up, eg embedding ICT in planning for
    subjects
