• Born on June 12th, 1929 in Frankfurt, Germany
• On June 12, 1942 Anne got her famous diary for
  her 13th birthday.
• February or March 1945, Anne died of typhus at
  Bergen-Belson concentration camp.

• Anne lived with her mother, Edith
• Her father, Otto

Early Childhood

• Anne went to a public school
• She was an average student
• Very funny
• Anne was very popular
• The Franks moved to Amsterdam to stay away from
  the Nazis.

Middle Childhood

• When Anne was about 11, life started getting
  really tough for the Jews.
• On July 6,1942 the Franks went into hiding.
• In 1944 the Franks were arrested Anne and her
  sister Margot were sent to Bergen-Belson
  Concentration Camp.
• Anne died a day after her sister. She was only
  15.

After Anne Died

• Anne's father, Otto Frank was freed and then
  reunited with Miep Gies and her husband.
• Miep had found Anne's diary and gave it to Otto.
• Otto Frank published Anne's diary in 1947.
• Today people all over the world read Anne Franks
  diary

• Anne had to overcome being Jewish during that
  time period
• Anne overcame hate
• She overcame being in isolation

Important Accomplishments

• Anne sent a message that if you have enough
  courage and hope, things won't be as bad.
• Anne wrote He who is happy will make others
  happy too. He who has courage and faith will
  never perish in misery.

• While hiding in the annex she didn't complain all
  the time.
• In her diary, Anne wrote about her future, boy's
  and problems with her mother
