2. Seven competencies matched to the GDE-matrix
Table. The GDE matrix by Peräaho (2004) matched
to the competencies evaluated after driving test.
The issues evaluated after the driving test are
1) car manouvring, 2) control of the traffic
situations, 3) showing consideration to
pedestrians and cyclists, 4) advance planning, 5)
recognising and avoiding risks, 6) economical
driving and 7) communication with other road
users.
