- Augustine Mound Provincial Historic Site
- This 2400 year old ceremonial site demonstrates
the flourishing culture and vibrant spirituality
of early Micmac life. Today the sacredness of
the Mound is highly respected - Oxbow Provincial Historic Site
- Home to the ancestors of the Miramichi Micmac for
thousands of years, this ancient fishing village
proclaims Red Band as New Brunswicks oldest
continuously occupied community

aspects of Mikmaq culture to their fullest - To assist in determining the market feasibility
of developing a much larger Native heritage

products at this specific location
