Adjust visibility of contours
Adjust threshold to achieve greatest contrast
between contours and background, then apply and
close

The contour process
Click on a point on the contour line, the program
will follow the contour line for as long as it
can creating a polyline in the process Use the
pointer to guild it along less obvious contour
when prompted Switch (S) command changes the
end of the line being guided Backup (B) moves
the line back segment by segment Rollback (R)
moves the line back to the point you
chose Direction (D) lets you specify the
direction to continue Continue (O) prompts the
program to continue drawing the contour line once
the point of uncertainty is passed . Close (C)
Closes the polyline Join (J) connects the
existing polyline to another polyline Once the
contour is complete you will be asked for its
elevation.

Other info

• The image has to be pure black and white
  otherwise contour lines on the raster image wont
  be recognized.
• As each contour is completed, the program will
  delete it on the raster image, although it
  doesnt always work properly.
• Remember to close the polylines in order to
  extrude the contours into a landscape
