Attendance Impacts Success in School

  • Cell phones, IPODs, etc. are not permitted
    between 755 am and 255 pm
  • If seen the device will be confiscated and
    returned to parents only.
  • 1st Offense- Warning
  • Further Offenses WILL result in Lunch Detention,
    After School Detention, Tuesday/Wednesday School,
    Suspension and/or holding the item for a period
    of time.
  • The same rules apply to stereo headsets (CD,
    radio, I-Pods, other personal music devices).

  • These are considered major offenses and may
    result in serious consequences

  • Must be revoked for the following reasons
  • Expulsion
  • Failure to attend school
  • Multiple Suspensions

  • Must be worn at all times
  • IDs may not be defaced
  • IDs must be two-sided
  • Failure to comply will result in
    lunch/after-school detention, Tuesday/Wednesday
    school, suspension, or other administrative
    action.
  • First replacement is 1.00, after that 5.00.

Passing Periods
  • Please be considerate of others by not blocking
    hallways during passing periods.
  • Passing periods are to move to class not to
    socialize. Lunch is for socializing.
  • Avoid main intersections
  • No running in the hallway

Tobacco, Drugs,and Alcohol
  • Possession or use of tobacco products on school
    property or at any school event will result in
    suspension and referral to the Elkhart County
    Sheriffs Department.
  • Possession, transmission, and/or use of illegal
    drugs or alcohol will result in an expulsion from
    school and a referral to the Elkhart County
    Sheriffs Department.
  • Possession or transmission of over the counter
    drugs will result in suspension and/or expulsion
    (Advil/Tylenol, etc.).

Violence and Weapons
  • Fighting, harassing, and threats will result in
    suspension/expulsion.
  • Weapons, look-alike weapons, or any reference to
    causing damage with a weapon will result in
    expulsion.

Parking Stickers
  • Parking stickers must be on all vehicles by
    Monday, Aug. 31.
  • To obtain a permit, you must come to the main
    office and sign a form, which also must be signed
    by your parents.
  • Park in the main student lot only.
  • Parking violations may result in towing of
    vehicles at the students expense and/or tickets
    and fines.
  • County police will ticket the vehicle if you park
    in handicap spots.

  • Please do not be in an unsupervised area

  • classrooms
  • building after 400 PM

Hall Passes
  • Must have handbook or pass from teacher
  • Student initiated passes in handbook
  • Teacher initiated passes in handbook or from
    teacher
  • Passes are not to be removed from book or shared
    with others. Student name should be printed in
    ink on pass pages and front of handbook.
