We lead Navigators leaders around the country
into reaching the 20-somethings of their cities.
We have ministries in Seattle, Chicago, Denver,
Dallas, Minneapolis, Washington DC, and the
beginnings of ministries in a few other places.
We are asking God for thriving, disciplemaking
ministries in cities all over the U.S. There
are three reasons for the 20s Mission 1) to
reach 20-somethings for Christ 2) to help
graduates and vets reach those they live, work,
and play with for Christ3) to disciple
20-somethings to be spiritual laborers in the
cities and the nations We lead Bible Studies,
partner with churches, meet one-to-one, and share
our faith with all those God leads across our
path.
- Please pray as we are seeking to give leadership
to something all across the country travel
demands are heavy on our family right now.
Please pray that God will bless the 20s Mission
of the Navigators into great fruitfulness.
Thanks for partnering! - Joe and Joy Maschhoff (and Noelle)

18CDM Progress - continued
- Taking Discipleship to the Church
- By Sam Hershey, Director of Church Discipleship
Ministry - Many years ago, The Navigators helped Billy
Graham develop a follow-up program for his
crusades. Now The Navigators Church Discipleship
Ministry (CDM) is taking the initial steps to
help Bill Hybels Willow Creek Association of
church leaders to do the same. - Willow Creek developed a comprehensive
assessment, REVEAL, to see how they were doing
when it came to making discipleswith startling
results. Too many of their people were not
spiritually mature, Christ-centered disciples
despite all that Willow Creek had to offer and
despite their participation! Now theyre making
the REVEAL assessment available to other church
leaders. - Thats where The Navigators comes in, says
Willow Creeks Cally Parkinson, REVEAL point
person. Once church leadership understands the
maturity continuum of their people, intentional
effort can be applied to improve their
experience. Navigators can come alongside
pastors individually and not only identify
solutions, but to say, Ill be here to walk with
you through this process. CDM helps leaders
develop intentional disciplemaking churches,
tapping into seasoned materials such as The 27
Series and other quality materials. - CDM is in a pilot phase of working with churches
requesting our coaching. Pray for effectiveness
in this role that would help these church leaders
make significant changes personally and
corporately in their churches that would result
in greater maturity, the fruit that comes from
this and the advancement of the Kingdom of God
into the communities where these churches exist.

23Challenge in the Church
I believe that we have got to go beyond
evangelization that is content to have people
just show up at the next Sundays service. No, we
must seek to make true disciples. The Great
Commission isnt about making converts, its
about making disicples! - Chuck Colson -
